Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT), D Y Patil Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai Partners with itSMF India Chapter to Drive Industry-Aligned Learning

Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT), D Y Patil Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) India Chapter. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing academia-industry integration, with a shared vision of preparing students for the dynamic demands of the IT Service Management and technology-driven workplace.

Through this partnership, itSMF India Chapter will work closely with RAIT to design specialized ITSM-focused courses, bringing real-world industry perspectives directly into the academic curriculum. The courses will be crafted in collaboration with industry practitioners to ensure students gain practical competencies that meet the expectations of today’s employers.

To support effective implementation, a Train-the-Trainer initiative will be introduced for RAIT faculty, equipping them with updated knowledge and applied skills to deliver these courses seamlessly across various engineering streams.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mukesh D. Patil, Principal, RAIT, said: “RAIT has always focused on equipping our students with future-ready skills. This partnership with itSMF India Chapter further strengthens our mission of making students industry-ready, enhancing their employability, and nurturing them into leaders of tomorrow.”

The itSMF India Chapter delegation included senior leaders such as Mr. Balkrishna Shirgaonker and Mr. Samir Bale, with strong support from other itSMF Mentors. Mr. Vivek Joseph and Mr. Satya Mishra of PeopleCert, helped align the initiative with international IT Service Management framework-ITIL. The partnership also received valuable contributions from RAIT faculty members, including Dr. Aditi Chabbria and Dr. Sangita Chaudhari, Dr. Pallavi Chavan and Dr. Aditi Chhabria.
